“I see the morning light with you in my side”
Plàsi has become definitely one of Lavart’s favorite artists, with his songs making our feed and our columns prettier. These last couple of months, the continuously arising Greek Swedish artist was offering small tastes from his upcoming extended play. First, we had the beautiful folk song “Run” and a month later, Mikael blessed us with the sweet ballad “Remember“. Both had something new to showcase about the singer-songwriter and his new music chapter.
His new EP, called “Where I Belong” describes how Plàsi rediscovered the passion that he thought he had lost. After years of endless search for the right answer, he realised it was lying next to him, closer than he had ever dared to look before. Surrounded by music. Where he belongs. In this five songs, Mikael and his fellow musicians experimented with production and decided to go the Plàsi brand one step further, but without losing the purity and the originality of his vocals and melodies.
The singer-songwriter stated about his group of people working with him:
“A big thanks to my producers Linus Hasselberg and Hannes Hasselberg. You are amazing, and I’m proud of the studio collective Röda Paradise that the three of us have been part of building up in Stockholm to be able to create organic productions like these. And it can’t be said enough times, but I’m so so happy that I’ve had the possibility to work with Olof Grind Photography on this journey. He is the one behind all the analog films, photos and artworks, that you’ll see the final work of soon!”
