Ποιοι καλλιτέχνες κατάφεραν να φτάσουν στην τελική φάση των υποψηφιοτήτων;
Θυμάστε που πριν από λίγες εβδομάδες σας ενημερώναμε για την “χρυσή” τριπλέτα μεταξύ της Celine Dion, της Stevie Nicks και του εκλιπόντος Chris Cornell, οι οποίοι διεκδικούσαν – καθένας ξεχωριστά – μια θέση στις μουσικές υποψηφιότητες των φετινών βραβείων Oscar; Ό,τι θυμάστε από εκείνη τη δημοσίευση μπορείτε τώρα πια να το ξεχάσετε, αφού οι τελικοί υποψήφιοι στις δύο κατηγορίες μουσικής μόλις οριστικοποιήθηκαν και προς – όχι και τόσο μεγάλη – έκπληξη κανείς από τους τρεις καλλιτέχνες δεν κατάφερε να προκριθεί. C’est dommage.
Οι δύο κατηγορίες μουσικής στις οποίες διαγωνίζονται τα επιλεγμένα κομμάτια είναι αυτές του πρωτότυπου τραγουδιού και του καλύτερου μουσικού θέματος σε κινηματογραφική ταινία. Σημειώνεται πως το βραβείο απονέμεται πάντα στους δημιουργούς και όχι στον ερμηνευτή του νικητήριου κομματιού. Εξαίρεση αποτελούν οι περιπτώσεις κατά τις οποίες ο ερμηνευτής εμπλέκεται με κάποιον τρόπο και στη δημιουργία του τραγουδιού.
