«Dune: Part Two»: Μακάρι να επαληθευθεί ο ενθουσιασμός…
Είναι μια από τις πιο πολυαναμενόμενες ταινίες της χρονιάς χάρη σε έναν οραματιστή «όπως παλιά» σκηνοθέτη (Denis Villeneuve) και σε μία πρώτη ταινία που πολύ εύλογα ενθουσίασε τη μεγαλύτερη μερίδα των κριτικών και του κοινού. Οι πρώτες εντυπώσεις για το «Dune: Part Two» μόλις κυκλοφόρησαν στα μέσα κοινωνικής δικτύωσης, και τα σχόλια στη μεγάλη πλειοψηφία τους είναι αποθεωτικά.

Μεταξύ άλλων, αναφέρεται πως πρόκειται για ένα σίκουελ που ξεπερνάει το φιλμ που προηγήθηκε σε ποιότητα, πως είναι μια εμπειρία που αξίζει να ζήσει κανείς σε όσο μεγαλύτερη οθόνη γίνεται για να «βυθιστεί» στο σύμπαν που ζωντανεύει μπροστά στα μάτια του θεατή και πως η δράση είναι συναρπαστική, θυμίζοντας το «Ο Άρχοντας των Δαχτυλιδιών: Οι Δύο Πύργοι» σε επίπεδο θεάματος. Κάποιοι μάλιστα ισχυρίζονται πως πρόκειται περί αριστουργήματος και της ταινίας επιστημονικής φαντασίας που θα καθορίσει μια ολόκληρη γενιά. Εξαιρετικά επαινετικά σχόλια γίνονται για το σάουντρακ, τον ήχο και τις ερμηνείες των Timothee Chalamet και Zendaya.
Το «Dune: Part Two» συνεχίζει την ιστορία του Paul Atreides ενώ ενώνει τις δυνάμεις του με τους Fremen για να σώσει τον γαλαξία από την αυτοκρατορία των Harkonnen, που έχει την ευθύνη για τον θάνατο του πατέρα του. Εκτός από τους Chalamet και Zendaya στο καστ επιστρέφουν οι Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Dave Bautista, Stellan Skarsgard, Charlotte Rampling και Javier Bardem, ενώ στα νέα μέλη συγκαταλέγονται οι Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken και Lea Seydoux. Η ταινία θα κυκλοφορήσει από τις 1 Μαρτίου στις αίθουσες των ΗΠΑ.
