Ο Serj Tankian μόλις κυκλοφόρησε το 5ο σόλο άλμπουμ του με τίτλο «Elasticity», το οποίο βρίσκεται δωρεάν διαθέσιμο στο YouTube.
Πρόκειται για ένα EP με 5 νέα τραγούδια που αρχικά γράφτηκαν για τους System of a Down αλλά τελικά ο Tankian αποφάσισε να τα κυκλοφορήσει ως σε σόλο άλμπουμ.
Για τα τραγούδια «Electric Yeravan» και «Elasticity »κυκλοφόρησαν επίσης τα επίσημα video-clip. Ο Αμερικανο-αρμένιος τραγουδιστής δήλωσε σχετικά με το «Electric Yeravan» :
«Το εμπνεύστηκα από τις επιτυχημένες διαμαρτυρίες Electric Yerevan στην Αρμενία το καλοκαίρι του 2015, όταν οι άνθρωποι διαμαρτυρήθηκαν ενάντια στον πληθωρισμό. Όσα έγραψα εκείνη την εποχή είναι εγγεγραμμένα λέξη προς λέξη στο τραγούδι.»
